Yeah, everyone and their mom (including mine!) are talking about it. He was a weirdo, but he was a fantastic singer. Obviously some fucked up things going on in his head, and I think people exploited that. It honestly makes me incredibly sad. They've been playing a ton of his music on the radio on a bunch of different stations, just goes to show his influence. I grew up listening to his music, especially his pre-Thriller stuff.

Do I think he was a pedo? Probably. But who the fuck sends their kids to Michael Jackson's house anyways? Obviously, parents that want their kids diddled so they can get lots of money. Why not just chuck them into the polar bear exhibit at the zoo? They lost their souls a long time before Michael did.

I love fashion, but when I didn't have much money it didn't matter to me much. I was just happy having clothes. So when I see little kids carrying Chanel bags or whatever, it really disturbs me. When (if?) I have kids, they're buying their clothes at Sears until they're 11. Why start these kids early? They won't appreciate it. You might, but you won't later when they're asking for $500 jeans.

Even now, I get disturbed with myself for buying expensive clothing. I have done pretty well not buying too much clothes since the beginning of the year, so I'm glad about that. It gets easier. I can't imagine the sense if entitlement I would have if I had been buying high fashion all my life...boggles the mind...

Is anyone else watching? I saw the clip of that trainer freaking out on that chick and thought "what an asshole" so of course I go and watch the first episode. She deserved it lol...I felt bad that Jerry had to leave. It's an interesting show, and I don't watch a lot of English tv anymore apart from South Park and It's Always Sunny. That outburst was so funny though lol...

I was thinking I'd really enjoy this semester. I really enjoy 2 of my classes, but I'm a bit disappointed with my Japanese class cuz I don't know a lot of people. I switched classes (just different time slot), so I'll see how that one goes.

That class I thought I failed, I ended up getting an A-. WTF?! How did that happen? Someone tell me, cuz I seriously don't know. Maybe the prof's in love with me lol. I wouldn't mind though, he's hot with a capital H. Augh. Hot and intelligent. And he's got this fucked up 1910s style haircut...so weird, but I like it for some reason. Kinda want to have another class with him lol. TEACH ME TEACHER! Haha.

It's only been 5 days since the new year started and there's already been like 5 shootings in my city. Maybe this isn't a lot for other big cities, but for ours that's craptacular. Most of them were gang-related, and 3 people were killed in a restaurant (gang retaliation). And the thing is, most of the gang activity that is in our city is Asian. So fucking annoying. I'm Asian, and they're giving us a bad name (particularly our quadrant of the city, which has the most immigrants). And innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire - it would be fine if they were just picking off each other. It pisses me off because I grew up here and to see this crap happening sucks. I know it's part of the growing pains of a growing city, but you feel helpless.

I live in Canada, and our justice system is shit. You could kill like eight people and get parole in 25 years.

The law should be extra hard on gang members. I mean, I don't wanna advocate eugenics (and by that I mean I totally do) but seriously....who wants these people reproducing? Maybe stick'em on an island Battle Royale style, let them get their jollies on each other. How about slave labor? The weird thing is, I don't believe in the death penalty lol.

Mmm...it's 2 in the morning and I'm pms'ing....prolly shouldn't listen to my advice on running the country lol

Gah, I hate it! Ever since I took that finance class I've been stressing about keeping my spending down. There's this killer dress at Banana Republic I really want, but it's $185 and I'm already skirting halfway of my allowance for January. Ugh, I can't believe I bought that stupid shirt at Revolve, it's ugly as hell too! Gah! Paying off my Visa statement for December is gonna eat into my budget for January, so I'm really really REALLY hoping that dress is still there in February...unless I buy it now and carryover my debt...but is it really that nice? I buy things and then get bored with them...

Have to sell my books, scrape some money up that way. Gonna return a few books too. Sigh...
